As you all are well aware, we have had two separate task forces (ACES Pickens and ACES Fannin/Open Arms) working on opening emergency shelters for children in our judicial circuit.  These groups have continued to grow and foster greater support in the respective counties.  Our good news is, that as of April 14, 2006, those organizations were officially released to exist as their own entity and are no longer under the umbrella of the ACC.  We are excited about these advancements and we have a true sense of fulfillment to have these organizations stand on their own.

If you would like to more information about  the ACES-Pickens Assessment Center you may visit their website at: www.acespickens.org or call (404) 963-8646.
